| This is the beginning of a list of materials I have used and/or others have used that are known to be effective and not harmful to the Marantz or its parts. Please email me if you have items to add here or if you know of any problems with these items.
Cleaners: DeOxit, Radio Shack 64-4315, Solvents: Isopropol Alcohol, Solder: Kester 24-7150-0027 62/36/2 silver solder, Use of an incorrect cleaner or solvent can melt Marantz parts leaving you with something that used to look like a relay, for instance, now looks like a jellyfish. It's important to take the time to get the right stuff. |
